A thought…

My old band teacher, Mr Harrislow, used to remind us: practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. He’s not wrong. If we repeatedly practice the wrong notes, steps or methods- we will not get better until we can identify what needs to be corrected.

What is also true though: nobody who doesn’t practice and put in the time needed will succeed in any meaningful way.
