Let me re-introduce myself: 2024
We have beenbombarded by New Year’s resolutions and goal setting and the rest yada yada yada.
Let’s keep this simple: The beginning of the year marks an important time to reflect and reset. No matter your role, it’s important to check in on yourself, your progress and the direction you’re headed.
To do this, each year, I pause to re-state and re-define who it is I am and with whom I would like to work. This year looks a little different. The Swiss Alps, a meadow of cows (clearly of the swiss chocolate variety) and Lake Geneva are outside my windows. My view is different- both figuratively and literally- which likely makes this practice all the more worthwhile.
It’s not uncommon throughout the year to move from one space to another without realizing we’ve moved. So without further ado, let’s reflect on who we have become in the last year and with who we would like to grow in the next.
Allow yourself to take a moment, or a few, to jot down your thoughts to these questions:
Who are you- define your role and responsibility?
Who is your ideal client/ With whom would you like to collaborate?
So it’s all fair, here is mine:
I am an executive coach. My clients achieve strategic growth, optimize leadership effectiveness and navigate change with clarity, measurable success and an improved sense of self.
This means: when we partner, they progress through the channels faster and with more insight, they become more self-aware and show up better for everyone else.
My ideal clients are mid-career executives who are looking to merge business success with personal well-being.
This means: they understand the connection between feeling good and achieving big results.
Now it’s your turn. Remember, keep it simple. And enjoy getting to re-know yourself.
